Remember when I wrote about the two hearts in my chest? The "Punk" and the "Levelhead"? I was referring to my desire to experience both in running: The wild and unexpected, but also the structure, the grounding and the calculated process. In fact these two rather inconsistent approaches can be perfectly allocated to trail/ultra running and marathon sports, which I love both.
There is no right or wrong. Both desires showcase who I am. But to fully enjoy running in general, I have to silence one or the other from time to time.
With that being said: 2 weeks left until my first 100k mountain race, but right now I desperately crave for fast 1000m intervals on a track haha!
