I had to let my dog go 2 month ago,and I think it's safe to say she was the most important thing in my life (after my wife). After the sharp pain was gone the emptiness and missing routines was what broke me. The automatic hand movement lying down on the couch, as she always was waiting there, the sound of her snoring at night etc.. I can just say it gets better with time, I have more days I think of beautiful moments we shared than about my loss..looking at your pictures and reading what you wrote I can say I am 100% sure you gave him and his brother the best life possible!
We will get a new dog soon,from a shelter in russia.not to replace or to fill a hole, but to offer another soul a good place full of love. And I'm sure wherever my girl went she is happy and free now, and your boys are too,united, happy and grateful for the time you gave them

He's 15 and has been with us through every major life event (marriage, kids, etc.), but we're at the point of his life where we're trying to prolong a high-quality life as much as possible (fancy diet, arthritis treatments, you name it). This one hit close to home. Sending condolences to you.

Wir hatten ja bereits wegen Toto geschrieben und ich weiss nicht wie man das jetzt mit Worten erklären oder es Euch irgendwie leichter machen könnte. Braucht es vielleicht auch nicht, weil Deine tollen und starken sanften Worte schon alles zum Ausdruck bringen.
Ich möchte nur , dass du weißt. Ich fühle mit dir und Lisa .
Die Katze hier ist auch meine Familie und die Vorstellung das sie irgwndwann nicht mehr hier ist , bricht mir das Herz .ich wünsch euch viel Kraft
